Frequently Asked Questions about our Group Dining Program
Do you have a private room?
No, we do not have a private dining room within our restaurant. Our large banquet table and round table are set off in a semi-private area within our dining room. Soft, sheer drapes partial divide this area from the rest of the dining room tables. Your group will enjoy the comfort of their own dedicated space while still feeling a part of our social dining scene.
Is there a food & beverage minimum to reserve the banquet tables?
No, we do not charge a food & beverage minimum. We do require that everyone in your party orders from the prix fixe group dining menu.
Is the prix fixe group dining menu required for my group?
While not a requirement, we recommend the prix fixe group dining menu for any larger party over 12 people that would like to guarantee our large banquet table and wants a seamless and shared dining experience for the entire group. Each course is thoughtfully paced and served simultaneously so everyone can enjoy their meal together, ensuring a smooth, cohesive and memorable experience. The prix fixe menu is available to any party dining at Barolo, regardless of group size. For groups under 12 guests, reservations for our regular dining menu can be made directly online.
What is the price for group dining at Barolo?
Our prix fixe group dining menu starts at $78 per person. A dessert course can be added on at $10 per person. Beverages and any other a la carte food items are billed upon consumption.
All parties over 6 people will have a gratuity of 20% added to their check. This gratuity is distributed in full to our hourly service staff.
Your final bill will also reflect sales tax and an added 6.5% admin fee.Do I need to pay a deposit to reserve the banquet table?
No, a deposit is not required for group dining (with the exception of a pre-arranged buyout). We do ask for a credit card to hold the reservation for cancellation purposes. Once your date is confirmed available, a group dining agreement will be sent with these details and instructions needed to move forward with a reservation.
What group sizes can you accommodate?
Our large banquet table is designed to fit groups of 18-20 comfortably, with 22 being the maximum. We can combine tables within this area to extend the table to a seating of 35 people. Groups larger than this will need to be split between multiple tables or we can discuss options for a buyout.
How are dietary restrictions or allergies handled?
Dietary restrictions will always be accommodated. Our culinary teams prepares a daily fresh vegetarian and vegan option for the main course. Our other courses can be prepared vegetarian, vegan or gluten free upon request. While this does not need to be communicated ahead of time, we encourage the knowledge of allergies up front so that we may relay information to our service staff to make sure all parties are aware.
What our guests are saying…
“Our small law firm (20 people) held our annual holiday party here last night, and it was fantastic. We had a four-course dinner lasting about three hours, and everything from the service to the food to the wine, could not have been better. Our employees raved about the food in particular. The atmosphere is elegant but with a relaxed, romantic, and yet modern vibe. I was the "party planner," and thus made the reservation and selected the various courses, and so I want to mention that the restaurant did an excellent job of communicating with me about all the details in advance, which helped make the night a seamless success. We give Barolo the highest recommendation and look forward to dining there again soon!”

“Barolo is one of those rare finds that you want to keep a secret so they always have a table for you, but is so good that you can't help spreading the word about them in spite of yourself. Their seasonal offerings are amazing. Their kitchen is probably one of the best in Seattle at preparing seafood, which, in this city, says a lot. Their pasta is gorgeous, their sauces are perfect, and their portions are generous (for a gourmet restaurant). It gets low-lit and romantic for dinner, and they have impeccable service and an impressive wine list. I have never had a bad experience there and will continue to go there every chance I get.”
- Perfetto (Seattle) via OpenTable“Our team was really happy. The service and timing was impeccable. We do a lot of these dinners and they can sometimes drag on but your team did an amazing job at moving things quickly, even with our large group size.”
